CLIMATE EXP0 – THE COP26 UNIVERSITIES NETWORK VIRTUAL CONFERENCE, 17-21 MAY 2021

Climate Exp0 is the first conference organised by the COP26 Universities Network - a growing group of more than 55 UK-based universities working together to raise ambition for tangible outcomes from the UN COP26 Climate Change Conference (Glasgow, Scotland, November 2021).

In partnership with ‘Rete delle Universita’ per lo sviluppo Sostenibile (Italian University Network for Sustainable Development), sponsored by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), and with support from UN Climate Change Conference UK 2021 in Partnership with Italy and Cambridge University Press, Climate Exp0 will take place on 17 – 21 May 2021.

Climate Exp0 will showcase the latest thinking and most relevant UK and international research in the run-up to COP26 around five key themes:

  • Adaptation and Resilience

  • Finance

  • Green Recovery

  • Mitigation Solutions

  • Nature-based Solutions

Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy will be speaking at this year's Climate Exp0. She will serve among one the panelist for the panel discussion on "The mitigation landscape: demand, supply and systems" on Wednesday, 19th May, 2021.

The Climate Exp0 is an opportunity to connect policymakers, academics and student audiences across the world, and harness the power of virtual collaboration to help advance a resilient, zero-carbon world.
