Climate Change and Us : A discussion

Jadavpur University New England Alumni (JUNEA) hosted Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy in a virtual space for discussion on 'Climate Change and its implications on our pursuit of better living and existence', on Wednesday, 6th October, 2021.

Prof. Joyashree Roy is a JU alumnus from the Department of Economics, where she pursued Ph.D in Economics in 1991. She is a professor in the Department of Economics (in lien), and also the Founding advisor of the Global Change Programme and Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF) Project at Jadavpur University.

The event 'Climate Change and Us : A discussion' was organized by alumni of Jadavpur University from New England area to discuss on the various prevailing issues of climate change. Prof. Roy gave her insights in the greater areas of climate change focusing on the contribution of Jadavpur University in mitigating climate change and its impacts.
