At the First Charleston Conference in Asia, organized by Charleston Hub, on 2026, January 26 to 28, 2026, at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside, Bangkok, Thailand, Prof. Joyashree Roy was the keynote speaker on “Asia in the Climate Change Landscape” on January 27. The session discusses the importance of a regional and Asian perspective in climate change impacts and mitigation to achieve sustainable, equitable, and just transitions within the planetary boundary. She emphasized that the roles of the constellation of publishers, consultants, and libraries can strengthen global assessments by researchers through the use of human intelligence to enable the change.
