Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy was invited to the Webinar on โ€œ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ซ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ: ๐’๐ฎ๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐–๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐œ๐ž๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ โ€, to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, on 11 February 2021, organized by the Embassy of Mexico in Thailand, the Embassy of France in Thailand, UN Women Asia-Pacific, and the Asian Institute of Technology.


The webinar was conducted online to give students and young people in Thailand and the region an opportunity to listen to inspirational success stories by women scientists from around the world, and exchange questions and insights with the panelists and other female scientists during two thematic break-out sessions. Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy was among one of the panelists speakers and presented during the first break-out session of the event.
