Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy was recently interviewed by Professor Enamul Haque of East West University of Bangladesh to learn about the story of her life from India to Thailand, and her immense contributions in the field of Energy, Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability Development.
During her interview, Prof. Roy spoke on her journey from the small town of Shillong in Meghalaya, situated in the north-eastern part of India to Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India, and how she became an Economist, to becoming the inaugural Bangabandhu Chair at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
