We are pleased to announce the completion of our first 'Bangabandhu Chair Doctoral Research on Sustainable Energy' at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
On behalf of Bangabandhu Chair Endowment at AIT, we would like to congratulate Mr. Hasan Mahmud, Inaugural Bangabandhu Chair Researcher on completion of his Doctoral Degree at Asian Institute of Technology.
Mr. Hasan was working as an Assistant Manager in Sylhet Gas Fields in Bangladesh prior to joining Asian Institute of Technology. He joined AIT in 2018 as the first doctoral student under the Bangabandhu Chair Endowment on Sustainable Energy. During his 4 years journey at AIT, Mr. Hasan was working on various research areas of sustainable energy development in context of Bangladesh under the guidance of Inaugural Bangabandhu Chair Professor Joyashree Roy. His doctoral research topic while studying at AIT is on 'Energy Policy Planning and Economics'.
