Dr. Joyee S. Chatterjee
Dr. Joyee S. Chatterjee, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at AIT and a communication and gender expert specialized in studying social and behavior change, health disparities and cultural norms. Dr. Chatterjee’s select projects/publications include collaborations in India promoting change in social norms on gender equality, HIV/AIDS prevention (BBC Media Action); Building Policy Research Capacity in Myanmar (IDRC); Gender Mainstreaming Guidelines for Regional Plastic Management (World Bank). Dr. Chatterjee has a PhD & M.A. in Communication from University of Southern California (USA), M.A. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (India) and a B.A. in Political Science from Delhi University (India).
